Golden International Mining Group is a gold mining and exploration company based in Santiago, Chile. With a focus on the discovery and development of gold deposits in South America, our aim is to maximize value for our shareholders whilst ensuring all projects are sustainable and of benefit to the local community. Combining traditional industry practices with ground-breaking scientific techniques, we are pioneers of the gold exploration industry.
Golden International’s major interest is the Punta del Cobre belt in the Atacama region of Chile, and the company has made considerable land purchases since 2018. Punta del Cobre is well-known for its abundant gold and copper reserves, and there are already several mines operating in the area.
Golden International is also the principal owner of the land surrounding the town of Paquisha, located in the gold-rich Zamora-Chinchipe province of Ecuador, and we are currently exploring the feasibility of further potential sites in Chile, Argentina and Peru.
Golden International currently owns land in the Punta del Cobre belt, located in the Atacama region of Chile, and Paquisha in the Zamora-Chinchipe province of Ecuador.
Both projects are located in prolific gold-producing regions, and we have undertaken exploration activity at the sites with positive results.
Sample results of the surveys undertaken indicate high concentrations of gold at both sites, with the results from our Punta del Cobre project also showing high concentrations of silver and copper. Both projects are considered highly viable for future mining operations.
